The Town of Pearl River is currently taking applications for the Town Clerk Position.
This position requires one to be an executive assistant to the Mayor. To schedule and maintain all calendar events/ appointments. Interact with the public in a courteous and timely manner. Must possess clerical and communication skills, A/P, A/R, payroll, and to work within Town Budget. Will be a custodian to all town records and must ensure proper maintenance and revision to any and all town documents. Attend all seminars, workshops, town meetings or meetings pertaining to the town business. Will be required to assist and learn other departmental duties inside the Town Hall. Clerk to handle all Occupational, Insurance Licenses, Permits and call for inspections. Required to record, type, and distribute all Minutes from Town meetings.
Requirements: High School graduate or GED equivalent, Degree in Business Administrative, work in fields closely related to Public Administration.
